I think I am going to sink my money into Zinio. They have tons of mags and the subscriptions are cheap

Yea I'm gonna mess with zinio too

You guys should have a look at atomic browser. If you are plagued by the safari refresh problem, this browser will fix that. Also, I'm streaming shoutcast right now in another tab as I'm writing this on my iPad. It's definitely a winner for $.99. The only thing that sucks about it is that if you close the app and reopen it, it doesn't save the pages you were on. You can set it to open the last session tabs, but they will all be refreshed. That isn't really a problem with the app, but the lack of multitasking on the iPad. Come on jailbreak! Or 4.0. Btw, if you guys want more info about this app, there is a thread on macrumors about it.

Have you guys tried Atomic Browser? - Mac Forums

I don't like Zinio at all. Prices are good but it takes 2 seconds to render each new page and you don't "turn" pages.. You just drag to the next page in a very boring and linear fashion. I still bought maxim though just yo test

I think I may get the maxim subscription. Always loved that mag. Reviews that people posted were only mad that it needed internet to read. But 10$ a year is not bad at all. Cheaper than the paper version.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

The atomics browser noted above is cool!!! I love all the customizable gesture settings and the tab browsing.

Gonna give Atomic browser and camera-a, a look.Peace,

I really like the GILT app!
Anyone other than me think that people are really trying to make money off the iPad? I hardly see any of the cool free apps that I saw when the iPhone app store first launched. Kind of bummed, guess it is time to bust out my dev kit and make some cool free stuff!

I got the current Maxim with the stand alone iPad app and the one with Zinio. I have to say I am willing to pay the higher price to use the actually stand alone maxim app. Zinio is just to slow on loading and articles are far more difficult to browse than how the standalone has them.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Has anyone try any note taking app. I am looking for a good note taking app for my ipad . Something that I can write with the finger or keyboard.

School notes pro is a decent app for writing with a stylus or your finger. You can also bring up the keyboard to type with. It's free in the app store. It's a good app to use in class to take notes with.
