sweet, but i wish they made it hdmi straight into the ipad.
this will work though!
hate carrying a monitor cable, an adapter and a sound cable.

While this seems great and all... the highest resolution video output is still only 480p from any iDevice at the moment so you gain nothing over even the composite cable.

You're right...but the price is almost the same comp. to cable.
But.... as some sellers are saying it's only with VIDEO w/o audio signal!!! WTF?

It takes 720p video but outputs 480p from the 30 pin connector. Kinda sucky.
The only way to increase the output resolution is via the 30pin to VGA adapter which will give you a 1024 x 768 output. I suppose there are VGA to HDMI adapters but that's a lot of cables haha.

interesting stuff. i saw a similar item elsewhere on the internet, but i cannot remember where. it was sold at about $45.
