Ok its a bummer to hear that the iPad dosent already have a camera but I still want one so bad and im thinking of getting it. But my idea is what if the jailbreak community or third party company designed a camera for the ipad it could eaither fit in the bezel and connect via bluetooth or since the iPads screen swivels or orients all ways it could go into the 30 pin connector it could be like an accessory that would act within an app built for it. Going to sleep but just had to share that. Probably already thought of but coudnt find it. Also it shoudnt be impossible since there already are accesories for the iphone and ipod touch that interact with the phone and make it do stuff. Also since there is a spot in the bezel you could fit a bluetooth one in there... probably not but the 30 pin connector idea isnt bad right? I REALLY WANT ONE BUT ALSO WANT A WEBCAM FOR LIKE SKYPE AND OTHER STUFF!!!!
COME ON PPL!!!! I WANT IT!!!!!!!!! THINK THINK THINK.... Ok right now you can get data from the ipad. That is proven by the camera connection kit. So cant we design both an app and a camera for it. We can get a mac camera and fix it or just another small camera and make it usable for like video calls....

Awesome app!!!! Picture quality sucks a fat one. But oh well. Still a cool app. But yea just fake your firmware. I'm on 3.1.2 faked to 3.1.3 and it works just fine...

^Ya it really is cool but the thing is can we implement this into video chat? Or can we make an attachment that can do the same like my idea of the small video here that can already be used as a webcam on mac or pc can we change it to work on the ipad as a hack????

Wait i have an idea that might not work but....
Ok remember when Mission Repair found that the mac camera fitted in the ipad perfectly but when we got the ipad it was just an ambient light sensor i think so coudnt we fit one in it and like do stuff to make it work?
OK THATS THAT but why is there 3 holes in the fixture? If it was ambient light sensor and proximity then why give 3 holes why not only two? Theres something weird apple may have swapped them out at the last minute or its in there and we dont know and it will work in ipad 4.0 Nope thats not it but maybe we would try to put one in????? Eaither way i want a camera

Takes you back to the 80s early 90s when the camcorders were the size of a briefcase.

holding an ipad to take a picture would not look good
