Checked it out earlier today. What do you think of the cases that have covers on them (like a book or folio or whatever)? The nice thing about some of those types would be the protection of the giant touchscreen, but then usability? idk..

Soft rubber case
10" net book zipper case
I would like to think that it is well protected but I NEVER let anyone touch it anyway, so if I break it, it's my own fault!
GET YOUR OWN lol
My fiancé wants to play with it...ha....that's NOT gonna happen

07-01-2010, 10:47 AM #10cheap case from Amazon
I purchased one of the $5 (10 with shipping) cases on Amazon. If you are looking, make sure you scroll to the second page--a few companies are selling an identical case which you can tell by the stock photos.
Anyway, it is a cheap piece of crap and is working great. I have had it for two weeks now, the snap which holds it closed is clearly the weak link and I expect it to rip within another month. I'll probably hold the case closed with a rubber band at that point.
The flip out stand allows far more viewing angles than the Apple case. I with it had a landscape stand but for ten bucks I am not complaining.
This is a fine case and I can't see why anyone would wait two months on backorder and spend four times as much for the Apple one.

For immediate protection, I bought a netbook neoprene case for $15, and ordered a silicone case with screen protector on eBay for $11. Ugh, the silicone case has these stupid grip things on the back for holding in landscape, which makes portrait use weird, and a hole over the apple logo. I hate that.
So then I bought an InCase convertible book jacket for $60, but had the slipping out issue. For the interim, I purchased a TPU gel rubber case from ebay for $11 and it friggin' rawks. After a call in to CS at incase they are sending me the V2 of the book jacket for free, and I just got the tracking number.
Sorry to be a teensy bit off topic, I just wanted to update from my previous post.
Moral of the story, have a backup case! And get the the TPU Gel not the Silicone. the problem I see with the zagg front and back is that the sides are still exposed. I know that some just don't care, but I'd rather keep mine in great condition so that I can sell it when G2 ipad comes out. Know what I'm sayin'?

I have what I think is the best case out of all, ZooGue Smart case, out of all the cases i've seen this one is by far the best, you can put it in any position. Its very sturdy, compared to the other cases when stood up, was easy to knock over, but not this case.
