IS and 4.0 | Psuskeels...?

Dear psuskeels,

Since MuscleNerd said a lot of JB apps are "broken" on 4.0 I was wondering if IntelliScreen is compatible with iOS 4.

Also about all readers here, including myself, are wondering if updates are still getting made for our favourite piece of software. As we can all imagine you are very busy with your new born and Rock, wich I use with great pleasure every day.

As we all know you can only spend your time once, and thus understand how hard (read impossible) it must be to keep working on everything at once.

Just a thought on solving this issue is maybe trusting IntelliScreen to another dev who has the knowledge and time to keep this piece of software a real competitor with all the other lockscreen applications that are popping up.

Hope you find the time to awnser these questions.

I know, thats why I think it would be so great if IS get's passed on (and gets to live on) to someone else.

I agree. Hand the reigns over to someone that can put time into it. I am to the point of switching to something new due to lack of well everything by the dev.

So ios4 is out and jailbroken but still no word about IS? Intelliscreen really is my one and pretty much only must have app... dying without it right now

Theve been dead about 6months now, no updates on rock, twitter or there site. Taken our money and ran lol

Forget about it.

I switched to LockCalendar and haven't looked back since. Does it do everything IS did? No. But it does the one thing I need most - being able to see my calendar at a glance on the lockscreen.

It's free, it's stable, it's supported.

Google Saurik's writing on IS. You'll find much on why IS is a buggy, unstable POS. All I know is my 3G was crashing constantly with it installed.

Dammit, I guess I'm going to have to waste a ton of time researching and figuring out if I can get lock info to work as well as IS. Never had any problems with IS slowing my phone down or anything like that and I really am happy with how nice it looks and how little effort it requires... but if psuskeels is really not going to tell anyone anything about updating it sounds like I'm forced to switch. Can anyone reco a good guide for getting lockinfo to work similarly to IS?

Just noticed that in one of the pictures of the mywi 4.0 release (which is doubled in price and licenses aren't valid anymore btw) intelliscreen was showing up on ios 4. Maybe an update is in the works afterall.

I was in the same boat as you. I switched to Lockinfo and I'm happy with it. Now I just need something to give me a mail notification icon up top when I have email. I loved that with Intelliscreen.

Trie notifier. It does that and its free. Get it fom cydia since the rock link is broken.

I don't believe notifier is compatible with iOS 4.0 yet.

I got it installed and it launched, but it would never show icons in the top bar. Were you actually able to get icons visible and it working completely?

Everything exept for the silent icon. Mail missed calls etc worked perfectly (iPhone 3G 4.0)

All sorry on the response time - there's so many ways to stay in touch with users. (We had an update at twitter.com/rockyourphoneco a week or so ago about IntelliScreen being updated). There's an IntelliScreen iOS4 beta at intelliborn.com/beta4 (Rock or Cydia repo). Please post beta comments at beta.intelliborn.com (can't keep up with posts in so many forums - so beta.intelliborn.com will be best for beta results).
