Blank or duplicate 2nd Intelliscreen

This has been broken for a long time for me, but I never cared before. Recently, I wanted to try using a second screen for weather and feeds, but when I try to set up "Intelliscreen 2", it alters "Intelliscreen 1" and they become identical. In the layout edit, whatever I do to one, it changes in the other also. But when I save and view the lockscreen, the second screen is always blank.

This problem has persisted over two separate iPhones, first a 2G, and with a new installation on my 3Gs (but it was over a restore from backup (maybe also Aptbackup? I don't remember), so I'm assuming there were prefs stored somewhere that didn't get overwritten.

It's hard to figure out effective search terms for this problem, and I didn't find anything about this before, so sorry if this has been addressed.
