Default IntelliScreen Crashes Mail App when Closing(3GS)

Lately I noticed my push mail notifications seemed to either be slow, or just non-existent. Just the other day, as I was closing the Mail App, I noticed that it was actually crashing the as it was closing... In other words, the app didn't just fade away like usual, but instead, ended abruptly and my homescreen refreshing like when you do a soft reset to kill off a hung app...

I uninstalled IntelliScreen via Rock app, rebooted, and the mail App worked like normal... Just to be sure that it was IntelliScreen, I reinstalled it via RockApp. The first time I ran and closed Mail App it did fine. The second time and there on after, it started crashing upon exit again...

I use the phrase "crashing" although it may not be. Has anyone noticed this? Is there a log that I can check to see if it is indeed crashing? Sorry, I'm a boob with the Iphone.

    Iphone 3GS 3.0(RedSnow)
    IntelliScreen(latest)
    Rock App/Extensions(latest)
    Cydia(latest)
    Winterboard(latest)
I did have IntelliDial, but uninstalled it, as it's kinda hard to use against Voice Commands, and IPod/Favorites double click.
Other than that, my phone is pretty lean(no other JB Apps), and somewhat stock.

    Thanks...

I can confirm my mail app "crashes" after the second time exiting it. The only difference for me is that my push mail still seems to be coming through properly. At least, I haven't noticed any slow down in notification. I'll keep an eye on it now.

I've narrowed the push not updating the Mail app to a certain wifi router on my network... I don't understand how just that one and only router causes me grief, but for whatever reason it does... I have that very same router at home, and I have no issues. Everyone else here at my office has no issues, although they have 3G's whereas I have 3GS... The only other thing, is that I was connected to it when I JB'd...dunno.. It's not Intelliscreen causing the push issues, so that riddle is solved.

I do still get the app crashes, but there doesn't seem to be any ill effect. I just would rather it not act like that.

    Thanks

I've noticed a number of different triggers that cause MobileMail to crash. On wakeup, after pressing on an email to open Quick View.. the list could go on. No problems with push, looks like your router was the culprit.

The RYP apps haven't been as stable since the release of 3.0. I don't know if the developers have fully worked out the changes and understand the differences. I also haven't seen an update from them in over a month. Hopefully there are more stable versions coming soon...
