Updating to 4.3.1

I have a ipod touch still running 4.2.1 with GreenPois0n. I want to update to 4.3.1. From what I can see only redsn0w has a untethered jailbreak for 4.3.1. So my question is how do I go about doing so? I'd like to not lose all the stuff I have already. Do I need to do a restore first? Do I just update to 4.3.1 and then run redsn0w? I have no idea and would really like to know.

Click on update..,when updated, your purchased apps will sync again and then jailbreak. If u have cydia apps just get pkgbackup before updating and backup ur cydia apps
