1.1.4 unlocked, having major installer problems

I'm working with a jailbroken 1.1.4 (recently upgraded and jb'en) and I'm constantly gettting hung up with installer. Sometimes it is during refreshes (which i see is already a noted bug) but mostly whe downloading things. It will download partially then get hung up. Any advice to try and fix this?

If you were previously jailbroken.. then did an upgrade.. and rejailbroke then that's your problem. You would need to RESTORE to 1.1.4, then run ziphone 2.6, then set the Touch up as NEW in itunes.

I did actually restore to 1.1.4 (unintentionally so when I accidentally unplugged it during an upgrade) but I restored it from my "backed-up" iTouch and also used iJailbreak rather than Ziphone, will this make a difference?

If you upgrade or restore and set up the ipod from the backed up one, then some files will stay there. For example, if you changed your carrier with MIM to Sprint, after the restore it will still say sprint.
