installer crashing
okay so I tried searching around and found nothing, but I'm running 1.1.4 on my iPod touch and installer crashes on
me like crazy. It happened to me twice and the first time it happened to me I had to rejailbreak my iPod. I don't feel like doing that again cause I'm pretty sure it'll do of again on me. Does anyone know how to fix this cause its really ticking me off and i'm sure others have had this problem to that would like or need it fixed. Thanks in advance

You're description isn't detailed enough to see the exact problem, but it almost sounds like you had the same problem I did. My installer crashed right away even before it completely started up. My remote repositories.plist file was too large, ie.. i had too many sources installed.
How I fixed it: Installed mobile finder, browse to ~/Library/Installer and delete the RemotePackages.plist file. Don't worry, it gets created again as soon as installer refreshes your sources. Just do this each time installer wont work.
Hope this helps

Just FTP into your files using WinSCP and delete it there. So much easier.

Is it bad if its 6,238 kb's? That seems rather larger for it. Oh well, I'm deleting the hell out of it
