Help installing CoPilot NA - Errors out during installation

I have a freshly jailbroken 3G S, and I grabbed the .ipa of CoPilot NA from ********. I can drag the .ipa file into iTunes, and it 'installs' there successfully, but when I sync the app to my phone, at the end of the sync, it gives an 'unknown' error.

Is there another way I should be installing the app/using the .ipa file?

I have a jailbroken 3GS and have bought copilot, it installs ok and finds my location but then freezes and just keeps searching for current location. It says it has a sat signal. I have been in touch with copilot support and tried all of their suggestions but still nothing. Any suggestions?
