i just insatalled icy- much better plain but imformative!

Imo it depends on your needs.

I recomend those:
Open SSH - lets you to view system files from your compuper

SBSettings - simply slide to enter settings (turn on/off WiFi, SSH, Bluetooth and many others)

Backfrounder - almost multitasking for your i

Winterboard - change whatever you like in your ihpone's look (software of course:P lol)

APPSync for 3.0 - it lets you to sync cracked apps to be synced be iTunes

Those 5 apps/addons are my essentials and using my iPhone without them would be much more problematic and boring.
