i have tried many different themes for the sms and keys but they dont seem to apply is there something that i am doing wrong or what can someone please help

you're not doing anything wrong... they don't work because Apple has moved and/or changed the files that the themes replace....

There are TONS of threads about this if ya'll would search.

They arent compatible. Period.
