I live in mexico, as the name of my title says, I currently have the firmware version 1.1.1 and I want to upgrade to 1.1.4. The installer I currently have is v3.01.

I currently use my telephone and everything works fine. Obviously we dont have the at&t service for iphone in mexico so I had to do this to install a simcard from a local company. I want to upgrade but Im scare that I will lose my number or something. Can anyone tell me please whats the best way to do this with the minimum risk?

I did a search but none of the threads I found answer my concrete questions or represented my case exactly. I dont want to take any risks thats why I would like someone to help.

RESTORE to 1.1.4, download ziphone from www.ziphone.org and run "do it all". You will then have to reload all your apps but thats normal when you get a new firmware. There is no risk of losing your number or anything like that.
