1.1.4 Installer issues.

managed to jailbreak my 1.1.4 8g ipod with Ziphone, however, the installer is stuck on refreshing sources once i click on the installer, rendering it useless. To fix this I deleted all the sources (except App Tap, which you can't delete). My problem is that whenever I try downloading any app, it gets stuck "downloading package", and the progress bar will either not progress at all, or it will go a small percent and then stop indefinitely. please help!

I think you're best option is to restore and rejailbreak your touch. Anyone got a better solution?

I've done this rejailbroken the ipod and it doesnt change my problem. arg!

I've had a similar problem happen to myself. When I tried downloading any package on installer, it would just time out and give me an error.

What I did was I restored to 1.1.4, then used Ziphone 2.5 to unlock/jailbreak. Make sure when you open iTunes to set the phone up as a new phone and not restore the backup. Then make sure to reset your phone by going to setting>general>reset>reset all settings. Then open up installer and it should work.
