How do I install more sources on Installer? I only have the Ripdev that came on it. Also, what would adding more sources allow me to do?

Well, adding more sources would give you access to more apps, but, you are better off adding sources to Cydia and forgetting Installer. Anything on Installer is on Cydia and Cydia has a lot more apps.

Thanks! How do I add sources to Cydia? Also will that allow me to get Apollo IM?

On the main screen of cydia,click 'more package sources' OR go to section&click the 'Repositories'.Also you can add a source manually at Manage/Sources/Add...
