So I downloaded the iphone video recorder on my computer, extracted the files and now I have no clue to take it from my computer and install it on my iphone. I am quite the novice when it comes to this sort of stuff. So any help in very simplied language would be VERY appreciated.

do you have cydia installed? why not just download and install it from there?

You can ssh the files to the phone....but you can install it from cydia.

You will need a jailbroken iPhone with cydia installed. Cydia installcan be done during the jailbreak process.

Open cydia then install video recorder, the entire installation process will be done by cydia. All done. Enjoy the app.

yup and once you do that open up cydia....it will "reorganize" and restart. then open it up again and go all the way to the right to the search tab. there you can type in "video recorder" and there you will see the video recorder. there is a free one called "cycorder" or the the one that costs is "video Recorder for 3g" or something like that. then just hit install in the top right, confirm it, and then youll be all set to go

just cydia DO NOT INSTALL INSTALLER!!!! that is just bad news and usually ends up only causing problems. there are MANY fun things to get from cydia....it all depends on what your looking for. winterboard is a good one to start with...it will allow you to theme your phone so its not just the same old boring icons and stuff. i would start with that. then you can find a theme you like and download and install it

Ahhhhh frick.....I insstalled them both before I saw your last one! Should I go back through the whole process again and not put installer on or just stick it out?

^^^I would go back to stock 2.2 firmware and re-jailbreak.

Ok thats what I'll do, as soon as I can get into my phone it finished the process then went to the black screen with apple been like that for like ten minutes now! my itunes isnt reading my phone. I tried holdong the sleep and home button it turned off and back on to same screen, vibrates twice then nothing........any suggestions?

its alive!!!!! hahaha
