Installer - Package download failed

NOTE: I have already searched the forums, but none of the threads really helped me with my problem.

So anyway, heres the gist of it - recently, whenever Installer tries to refresh the sources, a 'package download failed' error pops up, usually after ~10 seconds. Due to this, my installer hasnt properly updated in a while, and many of the apps on the site are not on Installer. Cydia, however, is working fine . iirc I had a similar propblem on 1.1.4. I am now currently using a jailbroken 2.0.0 iphone.

Today, the error seems a little different - i was unable to install the installer update, and received 'bad url' and 'cant find host' errors.

How can I fix this? Ive seen in other threads this might be due to a faulty source. Im pretty sure I havent added any, but just in case heres a list of the sources:

BigBoss
MMi.com
RiP Dev
Ste
ZOdTTD
iphone-notes.de
ispazio official

Cant anyone help me with this?

Installer 4 has a lot of repository issues as the coding structure is different. The only source I see that's odd is your iphone-notes.de

Yea I'm having kind of the same problem except that my ipod does not say "package download failed" until I try to install something new.

Restore to 2.1 and then rejailbreak/unlock with quickpwn.
