ZiPhone wont work with 1.1.2 (no installer button)

ive been reading about jailbreaking my ipod for over a month now and today i finally tried it using ZiPhone. after i followed all the instructions here (http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=674) there was no installer button and it seems like it didnt work. any help?

Crap...just realized you have an iTouch.

On the same linked tutorial that you posted, see the note about restoring to 1.1.3 first...

Try that and then use ZiPhone again...

where would i find a link to upgrade to 1.1.3? the upgrade on my itunes is for 1.1.4....

edit: i got it to restore and fixed the space issue but now im up to 1.1.4, did something go wrong with that downgrade or was it supposed to take up that much space?

Hi i got a similar problem, I have an iphone with 1.1.2 firmware week 51, which i Jailbroke last night with ziphone 2.2 (since 2.4 would not load for some reason). After a successful break i installed a few apps and thats when the INstaller icon went away and the screen is full with default buttons along with 3 games that i installed (it sucks only 1 works and i want to delete the others that and dont know how since the installer icon is gone) I also noticed when installing apps when i used to have the installer it would say i need bsd something any help would be greatly appreciated. I have Ziphone 2.4 running at work. what should i do?

Did you use the 1.1.3 link that .:MirrorminD:. told you to use?

If it is, that is weird it upgraded to 1.1.4...should still be okay and its jailbroken right?

I would restore back to 1.1.2 and then use ZiPhone 2.3 to activate, jailbreak, and unlock. I have ZiPhone 2.0 and 2.4 but 2.3 is more stable for me to use. (no hangups) After all that, 1st thing you need to do is go into installer and install BSD...

i tried using the 1.1.3 link that he posted but it took up like 5 gigs worth of space so i updated and restored it to 1.1.4. i think im just gonna wait til ziphone works with 1.1.4 and do that since it seems like the easiest way.

I have the same issue same as silentchaos14. I bought my ipod touch just 2 days ago. After that do the Ziphone as intruction. No problem during the time of running. However, no installer button occurs. As Ziphone, this can be done in firmware 1.1.2 OBT, no need to upgrade to 1.1.3.
Do we need to connect the ipod touch with wifi? I have no wifi during jailbreak.
Could someone please help?
