Installer Error Message

So I'm trying to download SummerBoard... but I get an error "Error URL using bad/illegal format or missing URL"

what's the fix?

Hi! I am also having this issue in Installer. I haven't installed anything yet, the first thing I tried to install was 'community sources', and i get "Error URL using bad/illegal format or missing URL".

Can anyone please help!!!

Hi all, i have just bought my brothers iphone off him and i have to say i'm loving it :-)
Now peeps i really hope u can help me out....I am having the same problem as the above posts. I was trying to get BBinfo but was getting the error of bad/illegal format so...i tried a few other items with same problem.
I would really appreciate some answers as to why this is happening so any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

bump. having the same problem. is there an alternative to getting summerboard or what? am i not using the right source?

As time goes on many of the sources and packages for the old firmware and installer will be deleted or unsupported to make room on the servers and stuff for 2.0+ apps. I suggest upgrading your firmware to 2.1 and use all the new stuff.
