Cant lose the red"0" updates on sprigboard?

I downloaded 1 update today for one of my installers apps because when I booted I saw a red "1" showing on installers icon on springboard but now shows a "0"? Am I going to have to stare at that "0" forever? I only have 1 or 2 installers apps so chances are there won't be another update anytime soon? I realize while this seems a small problem it can drive you crazy after a while!! Thanks guys for any help at all.

I saw this being addressed on another thread. I can't remember which one, or I would link it here, so just do a search of installer and hopefully you will find it.

I have tried to respeing a few times ;( still there? Rebooted a few times too ? Still there? It also has a "0"
After the UPDATED (0) like this in Installer itself? This may always be there not sure? I don't use it enough to remember, Bit thanks for the suggestion , Anything else?

hmm, So not just me, Is anyone else having same problem? Mine started right after updating community sources yesterday, I finally just used "poof" in boss prefs to just hide the icon, Out of sight out of mind I guess : )

I've got the same problem. Big red "0" badge and no way to remove it. Respring nor reboot does the trick.

this worked for me..

uninstall community sources, turn off the phone, then re-boot phone, reinstall community sources, refresh sources ( my phone appeared to freeze for ages), then it does eventually respring, and the red "0" dissappears
