i noticed that it's been a bit slow refreshing sources over the past day or two but today, for the past 12 hours or so, my installer would refresh until about 60% and would just stay there. once the phone goes on standby, it kicks it out of installer automatically. i've just now set my phone to never go on stand by and it's still running, at 60% for about 10 minutes now. i have a few additional resources installed but not that many and most are reputable/trusted. is anyone else seeing problems? i was wondering if i just need to give it a few more hours before trying again. right now, installer is refreshing as soon as i start it, so i can't go around the refreshing screen, and i definitely want to avoid manually uninstalling and reinstalling installer as i don't think there's anything wrong with it...any advice?
I've had this a few times... the progress bar seems to stick and it never goes any further. No matter how long you leave it, it wont complete.
I find it best just to press home and it'll bring you back to the springboard.... then try again a few hours later.
Even though I have 100's of sources, I've never had to wait more than about 10 mins for it to update. Any more than that and its usually frozen!
i was able to pinpoint the problem. ispazio.net was the culprit! i was able to fix the problem by ssh'ing into the phone and remove this source manually. in case anyone else is having a simliar problem and has this source installed, that is why. PM me if you need help with fixing this issue.
