Installer upgrade crashes! Help!!

So i did the update for installer and when i tap the app it goes back to the main screen and it doesnt open, what can i do? My phone was jailbroken by a friend so i dont know what to do.. I need help.. Thanks

How can it be that so many have this problem and I've seen posts about this in so many different forums but nobody seems to have a solution for it?? And no words from the developers or what we call them about the problem either.

The only "possible solution" I've read is that one must downgrade to 1.1.1 to solve the problem. But nobody can verify this solution.

I guess we just have to live with the fact that nobody has the knowledge to show us a solution

when you reinstalled installer it probably set permissions back to default, try these commands.

chown -R root:wheel /Applications/Installer.app
chmod +s /Applications/Installer.app/Installer
