Lost EDGE after Installer update

Unlocked jailbroken 1.1.1 iphone, have been using EDGE here in Costa Rica fine for a while. Ran Installer the other day and it did its update to v. 3.0, then updated a couple of games. Now EDGE won't work on the phone. I get the Could not activate EDGE message.

I've done the network reset and re-entered the EDGE settings (APN, etc.) but no go. Many thanks for any help!

did you need a pac file before now? you need to add that to the var folder again if so
