so it's out of beta and lets you add sources now?

over the weekend, mine wouldnt let me add sources but download stuff

some work here and there....you might have to delete the ones that aint working and reinstall them ( SOURCES ). It's a installer bug and there working on it.

you guys are forgetting the / at the end. its necessary so try to add it again with the / at the end

I did not mistype the repo address on the phone... just on the post. I've tried 3 different sources...

this may be a little off topic but i previoulsy installed b2 and now when i try to install b4 it keeps saying beta2 after i restart. all i do it replace installer app with a beta 4 file, yes to all, then go into putty and chmod -R 777 /Applications/Installer.app......then chmod a+srx /Applications/Installer.app/Installer....then change skythe to 0755 and reboot, still nothing


i searched around for this problem but i cant find it and you guys might be able to help

and i've tried to add them like 5 times and when it refreshes it said "unable to decode source" at this pointing since i've been able to upload some sources and not other i'm starting to think it's the sources's repo host that isn't working

I would like to suggest to the Installer developers that maybe they should consider creating a policy for the installer where it wont let you add a source if its invalid, no supported or the link is incorrect.
Apparently it does let you add whatever source but then it'll just keep on give you the unable to decode error.

I have a whole bunch of sources in the App yet the things that i can download are very few.

When i first added the sources below they worked. (as in refreshing that is cause i still couldnt download anything from them) but now after refreshing the sources i get the "unable to decode" error in all 3.

I've tried with the "/" and without it but the same issue.

Hi guys! I know, this post is somewhat dated, but i didn't find another related to this. I'm having some trouble refreshing sources, BOTH in Installer and Cydia, no matter wich source it is! After hitting the dead end several times, I've tried to do it on another wifi connection. For my surprise, it worked! After this, I've tried on yet another connection, but this time didn't worked. After some research, what I've came across is:

* Both connections that didn't worked where college networks, with firewall and proxy acting as access controllers;
* The only connection which worked was completely open;

I don't have a wireless connection in my house, and here in Brazil we don't have as much hotspots as we'd liked, so it's hard for me to make more tests. But maybe someone with a home wifi or more access than me could check this out.
