1.1.3 jailbreak installer problem

Ok, i know there are alot of posts out there about this issue but i can't seem to find the answer in any of them that i need. I have an iphone and so does my husband. i jailbroke both phones tonight in the parking lot of taco bell stealing their glorious wifi. the problem i am having is that both phones, when plugged into itunes, say there is a problem and the phone is damaged. i know the going answer is restore and do it all over again but my problem is as i have done it to both phone with the same results, what can i do to fix the problem? is it the installer program or is it me?

So both phones work fine except you get an error message when plugged into itunes? I have the same problem, and I can't find anything that speaks about this issue. I feel like we caught a rare iphone issue that no one knows about or bothers to remedy.

There has to be someone that knows how to fix this! Without a restore ofcourse.
