Installer 4 beta has been leaked. I've attached some screenshots as proof. It seems to run very smooth and is very stable.

Actually quite a few packages became available today. It's saying "Community Sources" will be added soon. Sweet!

it was leaked a while ago, i know a few sites that host the file. i actually have it saved already on my pc too

how would i go about ssh-ing this in? you say it should be installed as root and not mobile but in root, i dont see anything for apps

I just tried the link on the gizmodo site (posted above) and yes it is a valid link to the installer 4.0 betta.
I downloaded it just to see if the file downloaded successfully and it did. Havent really done anything with it though.

I know how to get the package to my phone using WinSCP but is there a link or a tutorial what command should be ran once i put the Installer.app folder in the applications folder?

If you have terminal on your iphone do this

You have Installer.app in /Applications.
next open up a terminal (such as putty) and connect to your iphone or use the native terminal app. Once terminal is open type su root
and for password type alpine then type “chmod -R 777 /Applications/Installer.app” without the quotation marks. then type “chmod a+srx /Applications/Installer.app/Installer” once again without the quotations.

Restart your phone and that should be good.

If you get a directory error then change the directory first and then run the commands.

Mine is still showing up as version 4.0b2.

Is it suppose to auto update?

If it still shows 4.0b2 try going to All Packages and click on the update file 4.0b4-4.

Then restart your phone.

mine is also 4.0b2 as well. I tried going to all packages and there are only 3 packages and the update isnt one of them
