Installer help please

Hiya folks. been searching for answers without any. Im trying to instal installer.app and i just cant seem to get there. I ssh into the phone.. put my password in.. it takes it.. it wont take the mkdir command. Says command not found.. It lets me type the first line of cd /Applications but thats it. ANy thoughts on where im dropping the ball??

believe me I have gone through those threads and fllowed to the T. All goes fine until the point above. Just won't seem to follow the mkdir command at tgat point of Installer..

ok i have the same problem... it won't accept my mkdir commands and i've downloaded the bin command files... what do i do with them... sorry if the questions seem so easy... thanks for the help

so where do i put the mkdir script into the phone?
i used iPHUC to put it into this "/bin/mkdir"
and when i tried to connect to my iPhone it connects fine
but when i get to the "mkdir /Installer.app" it says that permission is denied. Any help would be appreicated thanks.
