tru indeed!!! there was some other thread started that had the download link for the installer but they all kept saying they were getting a permissions error, maybe this is the fix for that.....hmmmmmmm......

I am talking to one of the devs @ RiP Dev, and I'm about to find out how updates will work(if they have coded internal updates yet)

I remember reading in the past that Cydia and Installer don't play well.

Is this still true?

doesnt load on my 3g iphone got in on there ssh but opens then crashes played with permissions nothing what am i doing wrong??

or should be patient and wait for cydia apps to placed within cydia this is all new to me has anyone got working cydia APT url??

Yes i got it to work. What you need to do is install the file in your applications. Then hit ctrl and T to add the 2 command lines then hit enter. Reboot your phone then your set.

this works!!!!!! the 2 bugs i found in the guide was...
1. on 3g you must install ssh through cydia
2. the 2 command codes in the guide have to have the "" from the location

I have an iPod, Jailbroken with 2.0.0.4, Cydia and Installer installed. I have installed PacMan but do not have a clue how I did it, he he.

I have browsed the forum for the last hour trying to get some info on Installer. How does it work, How to use the interface, How to install apps, etc etc.
Can somebody please point me into the right direction.
