How to add installer onto ipod touch?

My girlfriend bought a 8GB iPod touch (1.1.2), She already activate and sync with her itune when she dock on to her Windows pc.

Can I help her add installer into her iPod?
How?

u have to downgrade to 1.1.1 and then u have to jailbreak him with www.jailbreakme.com
