Jailbreak.com no longer working, no more installer.app??

Thats weird everyone is having a problem with jailbreakme.com. I have used it at least 10 times and never had a problem. My most recent times where late last night and this morning.

had to restore my phone this morning and tried jailbreakme.com to jailbreak it... wont work for me either and its bugging the poopoo out of me... like someone else mentioned it just redirects me to jailbreakme.com/files/y.tiff and safari crashes on me... i have no idea whats going on... i have jailbroken my phone a few times without any of this happening and jailbroken my wifes phone... i really dont know what to do now!!!

Another problem might be the 1.1.1 restore file you are using. I thought I read that apple fixed the tiff exploit and changed the 1.1.1 download people can get.

So goto the download section here and get the 1.1.1 and try that.

thats the one i have... i have the 1.1.1 from mmi download section... i restored it a few days ago with the same firmware and everything went through... but now it just safari crashes on me like i said when i click on installapp

that is what is supposed to happen.

Then you just have to wait a few minutes for it to download and install the installer.

Sometimes it takes a few tries, but I had better success when I plugged it into iTunes and canceled the setup, then tried the jailbreak method.

I had to try it for over an hour one time when restoring my phone.

ok i managed to get installer running one thing i did notice is that when ever i tried getting installer to run after couple restores of the iphone v1.1.1 it would lock up and hang i ve noticed it does this when i try and install the following In SOURCES CATEGORY

Name: Community Sources
Version: 3.0
Size 165 bytes

Prior to this i installed the BSD Subsystem V1.5

I believe the Community Sources is the one that opens up all the extra apps as at the mo i dont have any of the new ones that are out. Can anyone pont me in direction to find alternative way to get more apps

If anybody knows another source/ package that i need please let me know.
