no installer app !
hi there,
i have 16gb Iphone, from O2 in the UK, and it doesn't come with any installer app.
i don't need to break the contract to get it working, just want some of those extra apps. i tried app.tapp from jail break me.com, but even after a restore it doesn't want to load on my Iphone . .
also, will any 3rd party app void the warranty ?
many thanks
(its 1.1.14 and i'm on OS 10.4.11)

lol x10
sorry for laughing
ok heres the deal. in order to have those cool apps you need to "jailbreak" the iphone.
this voids the warranty therefore in any case of that you will need to "virginize" the iphone back to its stock state.
if you do want to jailbreak and join the fun download ziphone v3.5 or iliberty+ then connect ur iphone and press Jailbreak. in 5 minutes time you'll be able to install applications.
hope this helped clarifying a few things for youThanks is an acknowledgment

iLiberty is better in my opinion b/c it has more options and can install most of the most common apps during the jailbreak process. Just download it from www.iphoneproject.org

Exactly... don't offer a meaningless judgment. Back it up with REASON and EXAMPLES to illustrate why one is better than another.
