new customize in installer

version 2.0.0B8 is what its called is this just the beta version randomly showing up in my installer or is this the fixed one that wont screw up my ipod like all the other posts ive seen about the beta version. my real question is, is this safe to download?

that's customize 2, recently released for the non-beta testers.

it's your best bet to customize your ipod on 1.1.4

im still using the old old one, like version 1.21 or something. someone mentioned a version 1.3 but i haven't seen that yet lol.

The Beta works fine for me, though others complain that it doesn't. It's like a standalone installer for themes and stuff, you edit strings, mix and match themes as you like, etc.

I enjoy it very much.

i tried downloading it and i opened it on my springboard and it closes right away how lame and now i cant go back to the old one gosh thats so dumb i hate customize why cant someone just make one that works

customize (all versions ) has always crashed the first few times they are run on a new device.

SUID Lib Fix
You can find it in Tweaks (1.1.3) folder in Installer. Now Customize 2.0 should work for you and don't worry, even though it's in the 1.1.3 tweaks folder, it'll work in 1.1.4.

I was having the same issue and now customize works.

I think I am using the 2.0b beta as it asked me for a e-mail acount (thats what gmail is for).

Runs great now!

it asked me to sign up... so i did... but now whenever i open it up, it asks me to create another account. when i do, it says the email address is already being used. how do i fix this?

i got problems with in not working.
of coarse it crashes a few times, but ive tried it dozens of times but it doesnt work
using the 2.0.0B9 that installer has on 1.1.4

I installed Customize 2.0 this Friday, but it didn't work well as my original version......, so crazy!

Haha, had this app ages ago. I do like the old one though, I manually install the item i want to customise into Customize 2, rather than downloading themes from the Customize 2 browser.

I find Customize 2.0 easier than the other becasue it is like Summerboard and Customize and no this will not kill your Ipod becasue it has many of the bugs fixed. IF you were a beta tester you know how much the Beta Customize 2.0 crahsed.

You know what guys, i installed Customize 2 and the SUID Lib Fix (so it would work on my ipod 1.1.4), then installed Orb Live. Everything was word great.... till i noticed vWallpaper stopped looping the video!!! It just doesnt work! I have rebooted and uninstalled both Customize 2 and SUID Lib Fix, and Orb Live, but still it doesnt work. Cant someone give me a help?

Uninstall skrewcommon, reboot, uninstall vWallpaper, reboot, install both back and it should work.
