Installer Issue-PLZZ HELP!!!!

hi my ipod touches installer is totally effed..... every time i go and tap on the installer icon it opens just long enuff for me to read featured, install, update, etc. then closes... but it doesnt close quickly it closes to the point to where you can see the wallpaper but not icons for like 3 secs. then all the icons sink in towards the center as usual....

It might pay to restore it.

What method did you use to jailbreak it?
Which Firmware version are you on?
Has it always done this? or did it just randomly start?
