Installer app disappeared!! How do I get it back?
I was in installer installing games and themes and whatnot, and when I went back to home screen my installer app was gone. I have been getting the message lately that I've been running out of space, so I'm wondering if that had something to do with it.
Also, I have 2 1/2 gigs of free space left on my iphone. How do I make the apps start using space from a different area of the iphone?
I NEED HELP! I don't know what to do without installer!!
Thanx

what is DFU restoring? Does this mean that I have to restore and jailbreak from scratch? I don't know too many technical terms of how to do this.

use ziphone 3.0,you shouldnt have to restore. just open ziphone and click the jailbreak only button. that will put installer back on your iphone with erasing all your other apps.....after that download cydia packager, even if you dont use it, it dont matter but cydia will automatically move your apps and fonts and what not....try that first before restoring.....it works for me....if it works please click on the thanks tab.....if it dont just tell me to f#$k off....LOL.....IT WILL WORK THOUGH

yep,dats normal.
To make your phone go into DFU mode download Ziphone ( www.ziphone.org ) and after that select advanced features and click on DFU MODE,after that in iTunes press restore, than open Ziphone and click DO IT ALL button.
stlcaddie-maybe you are right, but "games" with Cydia are VERY DANGEROUS,belive me. Once I tried what you want him to do,and it got my phone into recovery, second time it worked,so its more easier just to restoreLast edited by Apple iPie; 05-01-2008 at 01:19 PM. Reason: EDITED

Bro....dont Waste Your Time Restoring Yet. Thats Not A Solution To Every Problem.
If It Goes To Recovery Just Press Jailbreak Again....believe MeLast edited by stlcaddie; 05-01-2008 at 01:20 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

stlcaddie: Thank you! It worked! I am happy again.
Now, do you know any way to make it so I can stop getting the "running out of disc space" message?
