How to upgrade Installer from version 3.0 to 3.01?

Guys,

I'm getting really frustrated. I'm a tech guy but a real newbie with Macs and iGadgets. My wife and I have recently purchased iPhones. They're both unlocked as we're using T-Mobile and the phone works.

My wife's unit has firmware v 1.1.4 and Installer v 3.01. My phone has the same firmware version but Installer is only version 3.0.

I'm already going bananas on how to upgrade my Installer to version 3.01.

A lot of the installations are failing. I've searched far and wide, tried all that I could but I can't seem to find a how-to regarding this matter.

when you refresh your sources, installer should tell you about an update.

if you used iliberty to unlock/jailbreak then you needed to add an extra file to the program folder to fix that problem. Try ipluspwns.com and go under the iLiberty support forum.
