i had to get a new phone now i got a 1.1.4 with modem firmware 04,04,05_g i want to jail break it again but i was told most of the installer apps don't work on it can i down grade and do it or is there a new program out i don't know about?

Most programs work on 1.1.4 these days. If you are an ATT customer you can use ziphone, it is a one click jailbreak (just don't use it to activate, use itunes). You can download latest version from www.ziphone.org.

Or, if you're a non att customer, i would reccomend using the new pwnage tool.

i am an att customer but they already activated it at the store cause i broke the screen on my old one does that matter

Nope, doesn't matter. I would recommend using ziphone to jailbreak it. It's a one click process, and you won't lose any of your personal data. Takes about 45 seconds.

You can try the new pwnage tool, but i have read about mixed success for att customers.

The official Customize 2.0 for firmware 1.1.3/1.1.4 is in final Beta testing at the moment. You can pretty easily get an invitation to download and install it from www.thespicychicken.com or http://customizeapp.com/forum/

Ya, some people have got customize to work, but not everyone. But customize 2.0 should be available soon.

i just tried to jailbreak using ziphone and i can't get any of the summerboard to work i'm restoring now what could i have done wrong. it said it was in recovery mode i restarted i got the ziphone icon and installer icon when i tried to install some apps they don't seem to work??????

Make sure you do a fresh restore to 1.1.4 through iTunes before using ziphone.

Just download Customize (custom) and it works just fine

also make sure you are using the latest version of ziphone. I think its 3.0
