pc messed up after os x installation
hi guys,
dont know where to start ok ok here it goes...
i partitioned my hard drive and i tried and i installed ox into my pc with out a problem ...i done the nessacery steps to install it aswell, etc choose disk size, make the partition active erase in mac installation... them problem started after i restarted my pc... when the start up message comes up and it starts counting down before it goes into installation i press f8 to choose what to start up and i only get the dvd drive as the option nothing else not the start mac os start up,
everytime i tried to start that partition up it wont give me the option... so i thought id go back into windows and get rid of the partition but now i cant get into windows, i get a message saing bootmgr is missing and before that i was getting the message hfs partition has a error or somthing like that...
any idea on how to get osx working or my windows...???
thanks in advance for your help!

Did you check to see if OSX will run on your machine?

Are you using a stock OSX installation disk?

It sounds like OSX bootloader has clashed with your windows one and now you have neither working. Boot from your windows install cd and repair your windows partition which will let you boot into windows, once you are back into windows download easybcd (google it) which will let you add your OSX install as a boot option. For more detailed help google osx86 and read up on dual booting.

Don't know if you got the sound working or not but if you boot into Mac operating system then go to system preferences then select sound then check that your output sound is not set to headphones or something, it should be set to your internal sound output hardware or if you have got a speaker system plugged in then select that and exit.
Hit thanks if I helped.
