EBIOS errror: media error

I burnt Kalyway with active iso at 1x speed and when it boots it gives me this error EBIOS error:media error 64. what is causing this error?

when I have seen that error before it has been because of problems while burning the disk usually at higher speeds. do you have another dvd burner you could try?

no i only have the one on my laptop. well i got past that ebios error but now it scrolls through a bunch of files then restarts. i never get to the leopard install interface. any ideas?

After you boot from the DVD, Press F8 and boot with the flag -v (verbose mode). You will see the text scrolling by. Try to catch the line where it restarts at and reply back what it is

Also, What are the specs of the system you're trying to install on? Graphics, Sound, WiFi, Chipset..etc
