Early 2008 iMac graphics card fail/replacement
The other day my early 2008 iMac had some multiple colored lines pop up all over the screen. I restarted and they disappeared. Today the bottom 2/3+ of the screen went black and the remainder was flickering. After doing some reading it appears my graphics card needs to be replaced. Should I replace with the same 8800gs card or the radon 2600? Are there any other compatible cards that are better?

I believe the radon 2600 is better
