Activate Iphone 2G with power button non working?

i got a iphone 2g the power button doesnt work the phone is on thou it recognized my tmobile service but it still says plug it up to the itunes i did dat restored it to 3.1.3 and it says insert att sim.. i dont got a att sim i got a tmobile activated sim im tryna see if theres a way to activate it.. i got redsnow n all the files ready for activation but my power button doesnt work i press it it still dont work i took the back of the iphone off tried to mess with it ..but it still dont work
any DFUs for the computer?
i got windows 7 ultimate 32 bit
i tried downloading this dfu that gets extracted to the C drive then run it but what comes up is

Why not find a friend with an att sim and use it just to activate?
