help, iphone keeps freezing

hello i need some help, my iphone keeps locking up, i am unable to use the touch screen at all some times. mostly when its been asleep and when i wake it it has frozen or when i go to answer a call i can't slide to answer. so i have to hold in the home and sleep button to force quit the phone and let it boot back up. Also itunes won't recognize it or if it does i cant access it, cant even get into the phone through wnscp or iphonebrowser or touchcopy. I unlocked with iliberty and am on 1.1.4 version. Can i just put in dfu, restore to 1.1.4 again and re-unlock/jailbreak? Please help, the freezing is getting very regular now and i need some new music to listen to!!

Yeah just put it into DFU Mode and restore should not be a problem.
Don't restore the iPhone backup start as a new phone. This will make sure you do not restore any settings that may have caused this.
