Problems unlocking/jailbreaking with iLiberty
|
Hi,
I am trying to unlock / jailbreak a 1st gen iphone with 1.1.2 installed, computers using iTunes 7.7.
Opened iLiberty and it saw the phone, so clicked options and jailbreak, took about 20-30 mins for 'preparing jailbreak' step to finish, now it's been stuck on 'Executing jailbreak' and the phone screen just keeps scrolling the same line:
BSD root: md 0, major 2, minor 0
Please help!
Has been stuck scrolling this line up the screen for the past 30-40 mins?
Not sure what to do - can I force quick iLiberty and do a restore?
Thnks!
UPDATE:
iLiberty crashed and so I had to force quit.
Now if I try and turn on the phone it comes up withthe apple logo then scrolling b&w text but gets stuck at the line:
BSD root: md 0, major 2, minor 0
which then just scrolls down the screen repeatedly.
Help!!??
UPDATE 2:
I finally figured out that it was iTunes 7.71 causing the problem!
Have tried with 2 different iPhone's and was the same on both, then downgraded iTunes to 7.6 and iLiberty worked straight away.
Hope this helps anyone else having this problem.
