[How To] Find Your Cydia Account Number
Once you get acquainted with learning how to use the basic features of Cydia, one thing that you'll want to find is your Cydia account number. Since you need to be on a jailbroken iDevice to use Cydia, you will need to follow our guides on how to jailbreak your iDevice. Cydia allows you to use your purchased tweaks, apps, and themes on any device you own - and keeps track of them by your account number. So if you break your iPhone and need to get it replaced, all you need to do is sign into Cydia on your new device and you can re-download your purchases.
This guide is intended for beginner level jailbreakers and will show you how to find your Cydia account number.
To begin, make sure that you have a jailbroken device with Cydia on your SpringBoard. When you open Cydia for the first time, the window will look like the one pictured below. You need to tap on the Manage Account button; it has been pointed out below by a red bounding box:
After tapping on manage account you will be asked to connect either with your Facebook account or with your Google account. You will get a separate Cydia number for each account. Signing into these networks is how Cydia authenticates your identity. I will be using Facebook, so tap on the Connect with Facebook button as shown below:
You will, of course, be asked to log into Facebook. Cydia will connect to your Facebook account to verify your information but it will not post anything on your profile or steal your confidential information. After you enter your email username and your password, tap on the blue Log In button:
Once you sign in, you should see your Facebook profile picture (or Google+ picture if you used your Google account) at the top of the window. Your Cydia Account# is shown by the red bounding box below:
You can sign into your Cydia account on any jailbroken device to download your purchases once you sign up for a Cydia number by following this guide. In the picture above, the white Installable Purchases button can be tapped to show you a list of every jailbreak tweak or application that you have downloaded and will offer you a link to the package so that you can install it. Congratulations, You've just activated and found your Cydia number!
