Hi i'm new in this forum, just registered right now cause i have a question. I didn't knew wich thread to make it, so here it is. I'm from Portugal and here we use GSM Carriers, so, i want to buy a "new" cell phone for my girl and 've seen some iphone 4 and iphone 4S on ebay and some of them are quiet attractive BUT, they say they are BAD ESN. I've been researching and found out that it's a Electronic Serial Number, wich it means they are blocked (so are stolen/lost or in debt) with the carrier. With that said my question is, can i jailbreak any CDMA Iphone and use it in a GSM Carrier? Another question is, if an Iphone is with BAD ESN on a GSM Carrier (ex: AT&T) can i jailbreak it to my GSM Carrier? Kindest Regards to all!

Are you going to update the list with iOS 6 beta jailbreak? Thanks

Just update it to iOS 5.1.1 and jailbreak it using Redsn0w 0.9.12b2 or you can use Absinthe from 2.0 t0 2.0.4

will be replaced by a bot.
Weird.
I can't edit my posts in this thread. :/
I can reply to earlier posts (which merges them with the old post)
the post "edit" button is gone.
Just in this thread.
Is "post editing by users" supposed to be disabled here?
I've seen it show up in vbulletin before, either as an intentional permissions change or a database glitch.Last edited by raduga; 08-28-2012 at 06:28 PM.

Kyle created this thread, so it might have been something he did. (on purpose or on accident)
It seems to be the entire /forums/how-jailbreak-guides/ section.

The jailbreak guide says there is no jailbreak for iPhone 4S 6.0
Which is accurate? The list in this sticky, or the jailbreak guide?

It's a tethered jailbreak for 6.0 but the devs recommend that just the devs use it for updating tweaks and what not. Still have a lot of bugs in it.
