Hello everyone! And thanks for stopping by.
My friend has recently bought an iPhone 4 with a contract and got the front and back screens broken. She has found a replacement iPhone 4 second hand and asked if it's possible to swap the parts between the second hand iPhone and the broken one.
I have made sure that the two iPhones are the same model: A1332. The only thing is different between the two is the color; one's black and one's white. I believe this is purely a cosmetic thing. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I have worked with hardware modding for older iPhone generations but not with an iPhone 4.
Please let me know if the swapping of parts is possible. Otherwise, I'll just ask her to buy the parts instead of the whole phone.

For any others, the ACTUAL LCD is the same for both iphone 4/4s but the housing "teeth" are different in the frame assembly for GSM and CDMA carriers. Even the flex connection and IC chip are reverse compatible for iPhone 4/4s.
You have to match two things:
- Model (iPhone 4/4s)
- Network Type (GSM or CDMA)
- And color if needed.
