I have come to the conclusion that there is nothing possible to do until they release a new firmware. Even trying to update to the current firmware via iTunes doesn't work

I just really dont understand why i can't restore my phone through itunes with the apple provided firmware

update- i just got my phone restored by removing the hosts file from the directory and just placing it on my desktop. Then i used the normal restore and i should be able to jb it and everything from here. If anyone needs to use this as a reference, please do. The many hours i spent researching turned to be a huge pain in the butt, so if you have a 4 on 6.13 firmware and it gets stuck in a loop or anything that i said previously happened, here (hopefully) is your answer. Thank you to everyone that has helped me out

One concern though, left it synching alll night and the battery went from 84 to 80 PLUGGED IN. Should i be worried about this or is it just reading the battery wrong?
