iPhone 5 Back Cover Swap
Just finished swapping the back cover on my 5. Got it all back together, realized I left a small black piece out by the headphone jack, but that isn't the issue lol. Easy fix there, but I've got no sound on my ear speaker nor my bottom speaker. Wife could hear me talk, but I can't hear during a call or music from bottom. Any ideas?

Update:
After two more tear downs and checking everything, got the bottom speaker working. Finally found the one and only pin by the ribbon cable below the speaker, was bent outward, straightened out now it's working.
Still no earpiece. Sort of confused lol - Taking screen off again to investigate that

ugh, I have every time. Seems to be a solid connection. Pulling off again to investigate
Tore apart two more times, took ear speaker out of the back of display even, re-seated. Made sure all connections from display are snug. Still no dice. No idea lol
Checked all metal on metal connections which I believe are the only two things that actually touch the ear speaker piece on the back of the display. Cleaned with isopropyl alcohol on all contacts. Still nothing. Going to let it go and sleep on it, look again tomorrow. If anyone has any ideas let me know. Thanks!Last edited by joshmoulton; 01-27-2013 at 09:01 PM.

I take that back. Replaced my ear speaker last night.. Still doesn't work. Something on my display is causing the issue as a friends display works fine.
