Hope it works. I'm definitely jealous of your partner too lol. I've had this for about a month now but never had any LCD's to put on it. I have everything ready just need to buck up and get it glued to try it. ImageUploadedByModMyi1369745610.957196.jpg

Guess what? No browning on the top of the last few LCDs I did. Guess what else? Browning on the bottom! But I'm almost positive its cus I put too much pressure on it when spreading the glue. Still going.

I should say that I did 4. One from last night is perfect (didn't push on that one). The one on my phone is brown (did push a little), made a yellow one today still looks perfect and made a regular white one that has no brown but slight pressure marks.

We have 12 more LCDs to clean...

Seems that the pressure is key. Most of the Chinese videos overseen they don't press on it at all. This is a major project for me tomorrow.

By browning you mean discoloration of the LCD? or of the adhesive?

No usually not enough or there was some separation during the curing process. Usually doesnt show right away but shows 24-48 hours later

I understand that everyone is using a uv lamp of some sort but has anyone tried to place the screen in the sun for a few to cure the adhesive? I'm looking at doing this for my phone and don't want to buy the lamp.

Should work.. but the sun could easily fry that screen, glue or something.. lol

I'd watch how long you sit it in the sun.

The mystery of the browning LCD has been solved. Finally and it comes at a good time too so we can do glass only and compete with the big boys at Apple.

I'm pretty curious too. My first 2 glue jobs weren't quite successful. Still in the beginning stages. Haven't seen the browning yet though. Must have to get to level 10 before that challenge unlocks.

LOL!! What is your process? Depending on that, you may not get browning.
