Have you had the screen replaced before?

My phone does the same thing and the reason is when I replaced the screen I removed the sticker that holds the glass the frame I guess the little bit of clearance is needed

The blue sticker that is on the back of the replacement screen? If so, I thought you were supposed to take that off. What sticker do you speak of? Thanks.

He means the front screen adhesive that helps to hold the front screen on.

They don't come on replacement screens but you can get new ones for cheap

No I just bought some off eBay on Friday and the haven't arrived yet so I can't really say maybe irevival knows of some

try to stay away from eBay . you can still use these screens . To prevent these pressure marks you can do this. Put extra double sided tape on the top and bottom of the screen (where you drew those red boxes) . This causes the screen to sit a little higher and should prevent the pressure marks . Always works for me ! Good luck

Oh wait I may have gotten a big rectangle of 3m double sided tape with the screen. It wasn't precut though. Do any of the kits you know of come with precut pieces to be placed on the phone? I checked on pacific toy, but didn't find any. Thanks again.

If any one could send me a link to the type of sticker you are referring to that would be great. I received double sided tape rectangle with a replacement screen a while back, but am still unsure if that is what I need. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have replaced a bunch of screens, some of them so shattered that i took all the dang tape off so i would not have to pick out a million small pieces of glass. I use scotch double sided tape, AND be sure the frame is pressed down pretty hard when you tighten the initial six screws for the side and the four in the corners. If these are not tightened with the frame pressed down, you will see a gap on one or both sides, and you WILL have this problem.
